Your Care, Your Way
How To Book Your Home Care or
Supported Living Accommodation
At Ribbesford Home Care, we believe your care should be personal, flexible, and built entirely around your needs and preferences. Whether you’re looking for support at home or exploring supported living options, we work closely with you and your loved ones to create a care package that fits your life and helps you stay independent and comfortable.
Here’s how to get started and arrange the right care for you:
1. Contact Us
Get in touch when you’re ready - fill out our website form, call, or email us. We’ll talk you through how we can help, whether you need care at home, supported living, or help finding suitable accommodation. If we’re not the best fit for your needs, we’ll do our best to point you in the right direction. Visit our Contact Page here: www.ribbesfordhomecare.co.uk/contact

2. Your Care Assessment
We’ll arrange a time to meet with you, either at home or where you’re currently living, to listen carefully and understand your needs, goals, and living situation. Together, we’ll create a personalised Care Assessment that forms the foundation for your Care and Support Plan, tailored to support you both at home or guide your move into supported living if that’s your goal.
3. Meet Your Care Team
We know how important it is to feel comfortable and confident with your care team. All of our Care Professionals are fully trained, carefully vetted (with enhanced DBS checks), and chosen for their compassion and professionalism. We’ll introduce you to team members who match your personality, interests, and needs—whether that means supporting your hobbies, helping with pets, or staying active in your community.
4. Starting Your Care or Supported Living
Once you’re happy with your Care and Support Plan and have met your Care Professional(s), we’ll arrange your first care visits. If you are moving into supported living, we’ll support you every step of the way, helping to organise your move and settle you in smoothly and comfortably. Supported living usually involves a referral through your Local Authority, especially when funding is needed, but private arrangements are also possible, and we’re happy to guide you through either route.
5. Paying for Your Care and Support
We never charge for your Care Assessment, and nothing will start until you’re fully happy with your plan. Care can be self-funded or funded through Local Authority support or other benefits. If you’re unsure what funding you might be eligible for, we’ll guide you through the process and help with applications to keep everything simple and stress-free.
For privately funded care, we offer flexible options - you can pay for individual visits or choose a discounted subscription package (1, 3, 6, or 12 months), with easy payment by direct debit or online.

6. Ongoing Support and Reviews
We understand that your needs may change over time. Our Registered Manager will regularly check in to make sure your care continues to meet your needs, and we’ll ask for your feedback throughout the year to keep improving. Your Care and Support Plan stays flexible, so you can always feel confident you’re receiving the right support.
If you have any questions or would like us to call you back, please get in touch or use the form below. We’re here to help you feel supported, safe, and confident - whether at home or in supported living.
